Turku University of Applied Science (TUAS) provides high quality and flexible training and consulting services for both individuals and organizations in the public and private sector. It is also possible to update knowledge and skills at TUAS Open University of AppliedSciences. In the field of applied research, Turku University of Applied Sciences represents the top tier in the country. TUAS coordinates or acts as a partner in over 200 RDI projects yearly. Studies at TUAS are working life oriented, combining theoretical studies with professional skills and close cooperation with private, public and third sectors as well. At the core of our teaching is Innovation Pedagogy, a new approach to learning developed at TUAS. Innovation Pedagogy emphasizes the viewpoints of RDI and working life, making our graduates independently minded professionals with excellent international and communication skills.

TUAS is a multidisciplinary educational community of around 9000 students and around 800 staff members. It is located in Southwest Finland but nowadays we operate globally in various development activities. It offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in three faculties. All the faculties are multidisciplinary. The faculty responsible for this project is the Faculty of Health on Well-being. It´s degree programmes host about 2,300 students under the supervision of almost 200 experts. The faculty responds quickly to employers’ education and development needs. Thousands of social and health care professionals develop their competence through continuing education.
